Cindy Set to Judge at Cheza Dance Idol Finals

Preparations are in high gear ahead of the much anticipated finals for the dance competition, Cheza dance idols this weekend.

The finale for the Cheza Dance Idols is scheduled for Saturday 03 November at the National Theatre and Ugandan female music star, Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy is tipped to be among the judges.

Her role as a judge in this event will be to choose the crème de la crème of at least three dance troops with one to be crowned as the overall winner.

Cindy, herself an acclaimed dancer known for some of the most unique and high energy choreographed dance moves will undoubtedly pick only those that deserve the crown.

Bismac Amumpaire, the CEO of the Cheza Dance Idol revealed that the event now coming to an end follows month-long travel across the various regions in Uganda in search of best talent in the dance arena.

“We made auditions in the North, South, East and Central Uganda to come up with the best teams who are all set for the finals this week on Saturday at national theatre” Bismac said.

Adding that, the top three out of all the contestants will be rewarded with undisclosed cash prizes. On top of that, the winners will feature in Uganda’s first dance movie of the Dance Idols.
