Christopher Wasswa (BHRM II) is the newly elected Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Guild President for the 2023/2024 academic year.
He becomes the 26th guild president after polling 1,927 votes in a hotly contested election.
He was closely followed by Lenia Charity Kevin (BPSM II) with 1,579 and Maiso Marvin (BAE II) with 509 votes.
“We congratulate H.E Waiswa the president-elect and wish him a successful term of office,” reads a statement issued by management.
It adds: “Congratulations to Mr. Wasswa Christopher and the entire team let’s work together for the better of our MUBS Community.”
