His Excellency Gen. Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Al – Burhan, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, has arrived in Uganda for a one-day official visit.
President Museveni received on Thursday afternoon and hosted him at State House Entebbe.
The two leaders are currently holding a bilateral meeting.
On March 15, 2022, President Al-Burhan decorated H.E James William Kinobe, Uganda’s outgoing Ambassador to Sudan, with the 1st Class Order of the Nile Medal by President Al-Burhan.
During the decoration ceremony at Sudan’s Presidential Palace in Khartoum, President Al-Burhan said this was in recognition of Amb Kinobe’s efforts in promoting strong bilateral relations between Uganda and Sudan.
