Peter Kassaga, a local trader from Kampala, was announced as the grand prize winner of UGX 50 million as Premier Distilleries Limited officially concluded its highly successful Bikole Masavu campaign at the company’s head offices in Kagoma.

Launched three months ago to celebrate 25 years of serving Ugandan consumers, the campaign has made a remarkable impact on individuals and communities nationwide. Over one million Ugandans participated, with more than 350,000 walking away with rewards ranging from airtime and mobile money to motorcycles, tuk-tuks, smartphones, television sets, and the grand prize of UGX 50 million.

Kassaga, a loyal Coffee Spirit consumer for the past three years, expressed his gratitude and shared plans to invest his winnings in starting a farm and improving his livelihood. “Since the start of Bikole Masavu, I made it a point to buy at least three bottles of Coffee Spirit every day. I’ve invested over 500,000 shillings in this journey. I am so happy to see all my hard work pay off,” he said proudly as he received his cheque.

Speaking at the event, Godfrey Sseruta, Head of Sales at Premier Distilleries, thanked Ugandans for their overwhelming participation and enthusiasm. “Bikole Masavu has been a celebration of our customers and our shared journey over the past 25 years. The response has been phenomenal across all regions of Uganda. Beyond the prizes, the campaign has brought people together—creating laughter, excitement, and opportunity wherever we went,” he said.

The campaign traversed over 50 districts—from Mbale to Kabale, Mukono to Mubende—creating vibrant roadshow celebrations filled with music, dance, and community engagement. Small businesses stocking Premier Distilleries products reported increased sales and stronger customer loyalty.

Sseruta also emphasised the campaign’s commitment to responsible drinking and consumer safety. “We ensured that every activation promoted moderation and taught consumers how to identify genuine alcohol products. Celebrating responsibly is part of who we are,” he added.

The grand finale, hosted by media personalities Ronnie McVex and Jommie Nankya, featured performances by Fefe Bussi, Karole Kasita, and social media influencer Shirtless Boss.

The Bikole Masavu campaign has reaffirmed Premier Distilleries’ commitment to celebrating Uganda’s vibrant social culture through innovation, fun, and impactful engagement—rewarding loyal customers and strengthening community connections across the country.
