Businessman Apollo Nyegamehe also known as Aponye has died in a tragic car accident.
The accident happened at Itojo, in Ntungamo district on Thursday evening.
According to eye witnesses, the vehicle in which Aponye was traveling, rammed into a stationary truck, killing him on spot.
Two of the occupants were taken to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
Aponye was a renowned businessman who dealt in grain and real estate supermarkets, among others.
He was also the National Resistance Movement (NRM) chairman for Rukiga District.
