The President of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has called for unity in prayer for Speaker Rt Hon Jacob Oulanyah’s recovery.
“Reports of the continuing ill health of Rt. Hon. @JacobOulanyah have been of great concern. Over a week ago, I spoke to some family members and extended wishes for a quick recovery,” Bobi Wine tweeted.
NUP and its leaders have come under fire for not dissuading their supporters from announcing people dead.

Democratic Party President Norbert Mao recently declared a two-year war on what he termed as NUP insults.

Former Aruu County MP Odonga Otto said NUP still has to recover from the political mess despite Kyagulanyi’s post.
“I thank @HEBobiwine, @NUP_Ug for this great message. The message would have been very timely at the U.S. demonstrations to clarify that the demos were for status health centers in UG and not @JacobOulanyah. A stich in time saves nine. NUP has to recover from this political mess,” Odonga wrote on Twitter.
