American evangelist Pastor Benny Hinn concluded a three-day Miracle Healing Crusade in Kampala on a wave of divine fervour, as hundreds of thousands flocked to Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga.

The American preacher declared Uganda forever changed by the palpable move of the Holy Spirit.

“Over 500,000 souls gathered, with 37 nations represented! Blind eyes were opened, the platform filled with crutches and empty wheelchairs—a visible testimony that our Jesus still heals,” Pastor Hinn posted on social media, adding, “The glory of God is rising, and Uganda will never be the same again.”

The crusade, which began on June 27, saw an unprecedented turnout from across the continent and beyond. According to Hinn, over 200,000 attended on the first night alone, with thousands queuing from morning for a 7 PM service. At least 10,000 pastors stood in prayerful unity, while kings, queens, and even presidents were prayed for during the event.

Equity Bank Uganda supported the historic crusade with a contribution of UGX 50 million, underscoring the growing private sector involvement in faith-based community impact initiatives.

Miracle Centre Cathedral, led by Pastor Robert Kayanja, hosted the event. One of the most stirring moments occurred on Day 2, when Pastor Hinn prophesied over Robert Kayanja Jr. and his wife, Marlena. “Words cannot express the prophetic moment this is,” reported Channel 44 TV, describing it as “The New River” prophecy.

The crusade was marked by dramatic scenes of healing and deliverance. Channel 44 reported a man who had been confined to a wheelchair, with a brain condition that had reduced him to a child-like state, rising and jumping from the chair during a prayer session.

Pastor Hinn’s message resonated deeply: “Life is not a thing. Life is a person—and His name is Jesus,” he declared. “Give Him praise, saints!”

Social media was flooded with testimonies, photos, and reels capturing the overwhelming joy, music, and miracles that defined each night of the crusade. Pastor Hinn prayed that the anointing would continue to flow into the lives of all who participated, whether in person or online.

“We pray that what God began in your life during this crusade will continue and overflow into every area of your life. The fire has been lit—let’s keep it burning!” he urged.

The Uganda Healing Crusade adds to Pastor Hinn’s decades-long ministry of global evangelism, and its spiritual impact is already echoing beyond Uganda’s borders. “All glory belongs to Jesus,” Pastor Hinn concluded.
