Bash Luks, alongside fellow artists Shaxx Mc, Jim Siizer, Bx on the Beat, and Rabi Star, has dropped a new song aimed at raising awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic, following Uganda’s confirmation of over 20 cases.
The collaboration comes at a time when the Ugandan government is introducing stricter measures to curb the virus’s spread. The song highlights the importance of maintaining personal hygiene as part of the fight against COVID-19, which has already claimed over 15,000 lives globally.
In the song’s second verse, Jim Siizer urges the public to adhere to the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, warning that the virus is deadly and affects people regardless of their wealth or social status. With no vaccine available yet, following preventive measures is crucial.
The song has gained significant attention on social media, praised for delivering an essential message during such a critical period.
Uganda, with a population of over 39 million, reported its first confirmed COVID-19 case on March 22, 2020. Since then, the government has imposed travel restrictions and banned public gatherings to limit the virus’s spread.
Among the confirmed cases are individuals from diverse backgrounds, including a young baby just a few months old.
