Bajaj Auto Limited on Friday launched its new CT 125 HD – Motorcycle at MBC House, Lugogo Bypass in Kampala.
The launch of the CT 125 HD dubbed “The Heavy Duty Champion” marked the company’s commitment to providing a 125cc motorcycle with trustworthy performance.
Speaking at the launch, Soumya Das, the Vice-President of Bajaj Auto, said the “heavy duty champion” has a longer and more comfortable seat to carry two or more passengers.
“We are very delighted to launch the CT 125 HD with the strength to carry 30% more load, power of 5 gears and lots of other advanced features,” he noted.
The bike also has a stronger suspension to navigate Ugandan roads, a low-maintenance engine with a centrifugal filter, a zero-maintenance 6amp VRLA battery, a gear indicator and a mobile charger.

Speaking at the same event, Arun Sharma, the Chief Commercial Officer of Nish Auto Limited, said the heavy-duty champion is made for Ugandan riders and roads.
He revealed that they have established a strong service network of 1,106 workshops and over 18,000 trained mechanics.
“Our durable Boxer 100 has already ensured a dominant position in the Ugandan market.”
