Uganda’s gospel powerhouse Benard Feni, popularly known as Mungu Feni, has once again proven that for him, family comes before everything, even luxury and convenience.
The House of the Lord hitmaker sent social media buzzing after revelations emerged that he chartered an entire aeroplane from Dubai just to make it home in time to celebrate New Year’s Eve with his family in Uganda.
Mungu Feni, who had been in Dubai on a business trip, reportedly missed his scheduled flight, news that didn’t sit well with his loved ones back home. Determined not to disappoint them, especially his kid, the gospel star made a bold decision that has since won him admiration from fans.
Sources close to the artist say the New Year’s Eve celebration will be a private, intimate affair, focused on family bonding and creating lifelong memories rather than flashy public parties.
In a heartfelt message, Mungu Feni opened up about the emotional moment that pushed him to act:
“I had to go all the way because I promised them. When I told them I had missed my flight, they were not happy. My child reminded me that I promised to be with them for New Year’s. To keep my promise, I had to sacrifice just to make her happy.”
Known not only for his soul-stirring gospel music but also as a savvy entrepreneur and the brain behind Euro Gold, Mungu Feni continues to balance faith, family and business with admirable grace.
As the year winds down, the celebrated artist has also teased bigger and more exciting projects lined up for 2026, promising fans new music, impactful ministry and fresh ventures in the entertainment space.
