The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is mourning the untimely death of H.E. Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He passed away on Friday 4th August 2023 in Tehran.
“The late Amb. Kisambira will be remembered for his patriotic service, particularly in strengthening the bilateral relations between Uganda and the Islamic Republic Iran and other countries of accreditation,” said Bagiire Vincent Waiswa, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry.
He said burial arrangements will be communicated in due course.
“Informed are H.E. the President, All Government officials, Members of the Diplomatic Corp, the Muslim Community, family, friends and all well-wishers,” said Bagiire in an announcement.
