The director in charge of national security in Algeria, Abdel Ghani Hamel has said that experts from Algerian police will train Uganda police officers in handling and installation of CCTV cameras.
Speaking at a meeting with the Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura at the police headquarters in Naguru, Abdel noted that Algeria will try to impart knowledge to Uganda police officers.
“We shall train them on how to handle CCTV cameras and how to install and use them,” he noted.
He also noted that Uganda police officers will be trained in other fields that the police chiefs of both countries will find necessary.
Gen Kayihura thanked the Algerian police boss for maintaining the relationship between the 2 countries.
“They will give us technical consultancy to prepare for the camera project.”
