The Hippos managed to keep their unbeaten run following their two-all draw in the previous match against Congo Brazzaville.

Head Coach Jackson Mayanja vowed he would not underestimate his opponents in a pre-match press conference.

And he delivered on his promise.

The teams that reach the semi-finals qualify for the U-20 FIFA World Cup that will take place in Indonesia this year between May and June.
