Abdallah Mubiru has been named as new KCCA FC Head Coach for a period of two years.
Mubiru takes over from Portuguese, Sergio Daniel Traguil who mutually parted ways with the club in October.
Mubiru, a holder of CAF ‘A’ coaching license was unveiled by the Club Patron, His Worship, the Lord Mayor for Kampala, Ssalongo Erias Lukwgo.
Abdallah’s immediate task together with his technical team will be to get KCCA FC’s season back on track.
This is Mubiru’s second stint as Head Coach at KCCA FC having previously been in charge in 2014.
Mubiru is also a former player for KCCA FC who featured for the club in the 90s.
Mubiru has previously coached teams like Police FC, Proline FC, Vipers SC, Mbeya City FC and Uganda Cranes.
KCCA FC’s full technical team
KCCA Football Club also named its new full technical team after the appointment of Abdallah Mubiru.
Members of the technical team Include Kefa Kisala and Jackson Magera Kaddu as assistants.
Kisala is a former KCCA FC player who played for the Cityzens from 1997 to 2000.
Kisala has previously coached Kitayosce FC and Fountain Gate in Tanzania. Locally, he has coached Express FC, Wakiso Giants, Masaka LC, BUL FC, and URA FC.
Magera has recently been serving as interim head coach after Portuguese coach Sergio Daniel Traguil mutually parted ways with the club in October.
Other members include; Fitness Coach – Felix Ayobe; Goalkeeping Coach – Moses Oloya; Junior Team Head Coach – Saka Mpiima; Team Doctor – Ivan Ssewanyana; Team Physiotherapist Emmanuel Tusuubira, Kits Man – Bashir Kawoya, Kits Assistant – Betty Nantale.
