President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Tuesday, 25th June, 2024 met and held discussions with Mr. Tadiwos Getachew Belete, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kuriftu Resorts and Spa who called on him at State House, Entebbe.

The President welcomed the Ethiopian investor’s interest to invest in Uganda’s tourism sector.

President Museveni informed his guest that Uganda is peaceful and has one of the best climates in the world; favourable for all kinds of tourists.

Mr. Belete told President Museveni that he is looking forward to contributing to Uganda’s tourism sector through initiatives such as establishment of amusement parks in forests and national parks without interrupting nature.

The businessman was accompanied by the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Uganda, H.E Etsegenet Bezabih Yimenu, Ms. Adiam Negash, a diplomat in Charge of Tourism and Ms. Tigist Bekele, a senior diplomat at the Ethiopian Embassy.
