News about the release of popular city socialite, Bryan White was received with jubilation especially among his fanatics in Kampala city.
And when he was finally set free from Luzira on court bail, his fans wasted no time. They welcomed him with a motorcade packed with youths, causing a frenzy in the city as they accompanied White to his home in Bunga.
Outside the Makindye chief magistrate’s court, scores of his fans and friends and family could be seen jubilating.
Dressed in a white T-shirt, black cap and black pants, Bryan White stood in navy blue Toyota Tundra with arms raised as his fans cheered on.
Despite his quiet persona, the youthful White is known for his flamboyant lifestyle and splashing money. During his stay in Luzira prison, White is said to have funded some renovations at the waiting area and installation of Pay TV for fellow prisoners.
He and his bodyguard Thomas Okoth, a police officer face charges of attempted murder after they allegedly shot a businessman.
