President Museveni has listed the names of Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels killed by Ugandan troops in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
“We have been carrying out air attacks on the terrorists in Congo. We normally identify those targets by both technical and human intelligence,” said Museveni in a statement on Wednesday.

His statement came shortly after UPDF announced that it had injured ADF Commander Kamusi and killed two terrorists in Kibale forest in Western Uganda.
Earlier, the Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force on December 5, 2023, arrested ADF suspects Nyanzi Levi David Mwenze in Kiira Central Division, Jinja City and Baron Muzigyei, a 40-year-old Congolese National in Nansana division.
Meanwhile, UPDF troops crossed the Bunagana border and started withdrawing from the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo after fulfilling their mission under the East African Community Regional Force (EACRF).
