H.E. Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira, Uganda’s Ambassador to Iran, has died.
Amb Kisambira was the head of the mission at the Ugandan embassy in Tehran.
“I regret to inform you that Amb. Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira, Head of Mission, Uganda Embassy, Tehran has passed away,” reads an internal communication to Foreign Affairs ministry staff.

It adds: “Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.”
Amb Kisambira who was also accredited to Tajikistan in March this year, presented copies of his credentials to Hon. Muzaffar Huseinzoda, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
He died at a time Uganda and Iran enjoy excellent bilateral relations which continue to grow from strength to strength.
