It was glamour, all ‘swag’ at this year’s Uganda HiP-Hop Awards 2023, held at Motiv in Kampala.
The awards that celebrate the hip-hop genre, were full of flavour as one of the greatest in the rap game, Babaluku was honoured with the lifetime achievement award for inspiring positive change for over 20 Years and exemplary service to communities.
In his remarks, Babaluku called for live unity and continued inspiration to the next generation, he thanked the organizers for appreciating his works.
The Ugandan Hip-Hop Awards is an annual award ceremony that is dedicated to providing a fair platform for all Ugandan hip-hop acts, through an awards show that showcases the past, present and future of the genre in Uganda.
Part of the movers and sponsors at the awards was Hennessy, one of the big names in Cognac, a brand produced exclusively in the French region of Cognac.
Its involvement at the Uganda Hip Hop Awards 2023, has shown a gesture of support to the HipHop fraternity and the Ugandan entertainment industry.
Hennessy participated as the sponsor for the VIP section. Hennessy supports the HiHop fraternity globally and in Africa, and has gone ahead to do the same in Uganda.
