As part of Uganda’s sustained efforts in finding last solutions through peace processes in South Sudan, Vice President Jessica Alupo met with His Holiness Pope Francis who is currently on a visit to Juba.
The meeting took place at State House Juba.
It was attended by all the five Vice Presidents of South Sudan, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the moderator general of the church of Scotland, the moderator general of the council of the presbyterian church of America, several cardinals and Bishops and H.E Salva Kiir, the President of South Sudan.
H.E. Alupo was representing H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in a meeting that focused on the peace and security of South Sudan.
