H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) has appointed Col Abdul Rugumayo as the Deputy Chief of Military Intelligence.
Rugumayo joined Intelligence in 1989 and has since served the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI)
Prior to his appointment as Deputy CMI, he has been serving at UPDF’s National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) headed by Gen James Mugira.
Rugumayo hails from Kyegegwa district.
