Ugandan Land Forces Commander Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is set to travel back to Kigali to meet with Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
The two are expected to hold further talks on “outstanding issues” relating to Uganda – Rwanda relations.
Gen Muhoozi announced Monday that this decision was arrived at this morning.
“After a long discussion with my uncle, President Kagame, this morning we have agreed that I return to Kigali in the coming days to sort out all outstanding issues between Uganda and Rwanda,” Muhoozi said.
