The recently purchased Uganda Airlines A330-800neo (new engine option) aircraft, is to be showcased at the Dubai Airshow that will run from November 14-18, 2021.
The Dubai Airshow is a biennial air show held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates it is organized by F&E Aerospace since 1989. The event is open to business professionals and industry only.
According to the Uganda Airlines acting CEO, Jennifer Bamuturaki, the airline was invited to participate and showcase the A330 through Airbus.
Bamuturaki revealed that the air show will give the national carrier a unique brand marketing opportunity as the public will see it’s unique interior and quality features.
She noted that the air show will also provide invaluable advertising and marketing opportunities for the Airline and destination Uganda.
“Dubai is our first international route and the airshow will be a unique opportunity to promote Uganda as a travel and tourist destination,” She said.
This year, Uganda Airlines received two Airbus A330-800neo aircrafts, and these were om August 21, included on the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) fleet listing.
The Airbus A330 is a state-of-the-art aircraft with capacity to carry 37 tones of cargo and 258 passengers.
