UPDF Low Loader Trailer Involved in Accident, No Casualties

A UPDF low loader trailer carrying an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) caught fire after getting involved in an accident.

The incident is said to have occurred on Saturday in Mubende while the trailer was heading to Karama Armoured Warfare Training School in Kabamba.

According to the army spokesperson, Brig Richard Karemire, no casualties have so far been registered. He said that they are probing into what could have been the cause of the accident.

“Front body of the trailer saved and the IFV intact. Cause of accident being investigated as recovery of equipment continues. No cause for alarm,” Brig Karemire told SoftPower News.
