Johnnie Walker’s Bottle Turn Up brought unmatched energy to Black Panther and Thrones over the weekend, delivering an experience best summed up as: you simply had to be there.
The festivities kicked off at Black Panther, where Evelyn Mic, DJ Mercy Pro, DJ Lito and a stellar lineup transformed the venue into a high-energy playground of music, cocktails and unforgettable moments.
On Sunday, the celebration shifted to Thrones, which became the epicentre of Father’s Day festivities in Kampala. Hosted by Johnnie Walker’s Lynda Ddane, the event stood out as one of the city’s most vibrant Father’s Day parties. Fathers, father figures and whisky enthusiasts gathered for a night dedicated to the men who inspire others to Keep Walking. The experience was seamless: bottles flowed endlessly, cocktails were expertly crafted, and the dancefloor remained alive throughout the night.
Kasbaby, Crysto Deejay, Jerry Mehn, DJ Easu and Sir Aluda delivered electrifying sets, keeping the crowd moving from start to finish with hit after hit. The atmosphere was electric, the vibes unmatched, and the demand undeniable as tables filled up with bottle after bottle of Johnnie Walker.
Speaking during the celebrations, Julius Ssenungi, Shopper Manager for Johnnie Walker, noted that the Bottle Turn Up platform was designed to offer consumers a premium whisky experience.
“The Johnnie Walker Bottle Turn Ups are our way of giving back to our consumers by creating experiences where they can enjoy the whisky at great value while immersing themselves in a full Johnnie Walker brand experience. This Father’s Day weekend, we wanted to celebrate the incredible fathers and father figures who inspire those around them to keep walking.” Johnnie Walker’s Bottle Turn Up is set to take over more bars and lounges across the country every week, bringing together great whisky, great music, and unforgettable nights out.
