The evening kicked off with first-time Gilbey’s tasters getting a chance to experience the brand in a relaxed and social setting. As conversations flowed, the conversation quickly shifted to the FIFA World Cup opening day action, particularly South Africa’s opening match against Mexico.

The trivia sessions attracted participation from football lovers, with winners walking away with a variety of Gilbey’s branded merchandise.

Many attendees noted that some of the late-night kickoffs can be difficult to balance with family responsibilities and relationships, especially for couples trying to spend quality time together.

The discussion centred around a common scenario where a friend borrows a car and subsequently gets involved in an accident or causes damage to the vehicle.
