Ampaire, who previously served as FUFA’s Legal Officer, will assume her new role effective April 1, 2026, becoming a key figure in the federation’s top management team.

The restructuring introduces a full leadership team tasked with enhancing organisational effectiveness, reinforcing internal systems, and ensuring efficient delivery of FUFA’s strategic and operational mandate.

Other appointments include Bakiika Samuel Mubiru as Head of Division for Finance and Corporate Governance, Mandu Humphrey Watenga as Head of Division for Services, Research, Planning and Projects, and Mubiru Shawn as Competitions Director.

Ahmed Hussein has been named Director of Corporate Affairs, while Kiryowa Ian takes on the role of Commercial Director. Hajati Nalule Aisha has been appointed Member Relations Director, Lukambi Denis as Legal Director, and Mutyaba Bashir as Football Development Director.

Mrs. Namuganga Julian Bbosa has been appointed Finance Director.

According to FUFA, the new officials will provide management and operational oversight within their respective portfolios, supporting the implementation of the federation’s strategic priorities under the revised structure.

The federation said the changes are part of its continued commitment to professionalism, accountability, and operational efficiency, while promoting sustainable football development across Uganda.

FUFA noted that the reforms are expected to strengthen coordination, improve service delivery, and enhance engagement with stakeholders across the football ecosystem.

Stakeholders have been urged to take note of the new structure and extend full cooperation to ensure the effective execution of duties under the revamped secretariat framework.
