Kampala — The Uganda Digital Society (UDS) is set to host its 1st Inaugural Digital Marketers Roundtable, bringing together marketing professionals, industry leaders, and innovators to discuss the future of marketing in an increasingly digital world.
Scheduled for April 3, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Bight of Benin in Kampala, the free event will provide a platform for dialogue on blending traditional and digital marketing strategies under the theme: “Integrating Digital and Traditional Marketing for Maximum Impact.”
As Ugandan businesses adapt to evolving consumer habits, marketers face the challenge of balancing traditional media with digital platforms to reach audiences effectively. The roundtable aims to explore how these approaches can be combined strategically to deliver impactful and ethical campaigns.
Key speakers at the event include: John Ssenkeezi, President – Uganda Digital Society, Charity K Asiimwe, President – Uganda Marketers Society and Rommel Jasi, Chairperson – Uganda Advertising Association.
The session will allow participants to engage with experienced practitioners, share ideas, and network with professionals from marketing, media, and technology sectors.
According to Wycliff Katamba, Events and Partnership Director at UDS, this roundtable is the first in a series of industry conversations designed to strengthen Uganda’s digital ecosystem and promote responsible marketing practices.
“This is an opportunity for marketers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and learn strategies that can enhance both digital and traditional campaigns,” Katamba said.
The initiative is supported by several partner organisations, including Native Noise, Triverse, Moving Ads, Contivibe, Loud Digital, and Phos Creatives.
Marketing professionals, students, and business leaders interested in attending are encouraged to register through the RSVP form here.
