Female DJ Duo Mysterious2 Electrify Stanbic Matchplay Party

ENTEBBE, – Valentine’s night at Entebbe Golf Club was transformed into an unforgettable fusion of sport, music, and celebration as the Stanbic Matchplay Challenge kicked off.

While 246 golfers battled on the greens, the real magic happened at the 19th hole, where female DJ duo Mysterious2 took centre stage.

Kampala sisters Mutesi Dej and Muvaneza Espera, famed for their signature “synthetic mixes,” delivered an electrifying set that kept the crowd moving well into the night. From Amapiano and Dancehall to Uganda’s trending hits, Mysterious2 seamlessly blended genres, captivating both golfers and guests.

“We are the Mysterious2, and we are here to make you happy. Enjoy the vibe!” declared Dush (Mutesi Dej) as the sisters commanded the decks.

The “woman takeover” theme extended to the course, where Berna Musanabera made history with a Hole-in-One, winning a brand-new Toyota Corolla Cross, courtesy of CFAO Mobility Uganda.

The music journey continued with DeeJay Jo, who treated the crowd to Ugandan classics like Bread and Butter by Radio and Weasel, Eno Mic by Ziggy Dee, and timeless Afrigo Band hits—bridging generations from Millennials to Baby Boomers. The night’s festivities reached their peak with Selector J, Entebbe Golf Club’s in-house DJ, who kept the celebration alive well past midnight.

The event marked the grand return of Uganda’s premier golfing tournament, with Stanbic Bank enhancing the 19th Hole experience as a gift to their clients. Arthur Kiwanuka, Head of Affluent Banking at Stanbic Bank, said,
