DJ Aludah Turns Up the Festive Vibe at Meatings

Kampala officially entered the festive season on December 20 when Tusker Cider’s Meatings transformed Gazebo Grill in Najjera into a lively outdoor playground filled with flavour, music, and connection. This lifestyle experience featured exciting DJ sets alongside a mouth-watering selection of meats, perfectly complemented by Tusker Cider’s blended flavours.

From the first pour to the last bite, the atmosphere transitioned seamlessly from a laid-back afternoon to a vibrant evening celebration. On the decks, DJs Khurk, Mary Jo, Heydez, and the legendary Sir Aludah kept the crowd dancing with smooth transitions between Old Skool classics, Afrobeats favourites, and high-energy Amapiano anthems.

MC Guhi energised the crowd, engaging revellers and creating an upbeat, playful experience. Music filled every corner of the venue, turning the open-air space into a lively social hub where friends connected, danced, and embraced the festive spirit.

Reflecting on the year’s journey, Mercy Atwongyeire, Premium Beer Project Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, remarked that Meatings has evolved into a celebration of shared moments. “Each edition has demonstrated the power of food, music, and positive energy when they come together intentionally. December was about enhancing that connection, amplifying the flavour, the fun, and the festive spirit to close out the year on a high.”
