Equity Bank Uganda this week hosted a high-level delegation from aBi, the European Union, and the Royal Danish Embassy at its head office in Church House, Kampala, for strategic discussions aimed at expanding collaboration in key sectors of Uganda’s economy.
The meeting focused on exploring new opportunities for partnership, business growth, technical assistance, and de-risking mechanisms—particularly within the food and agriculture value chains. The partners also discussed joint initiatives to support refugees, youth, and women, strengthening efforts toward inclusive and sustainable development.
Equity Bank Uganda’s Managing Director, Gift Shoko, reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to fostering impactful partnerships that stimulate economic transformation. He said Equity Bank remains dedicated to working closely with development partners to unlock opportunities that uplift communities and empower vulnerable groups.
The engagement marks another significant step in Equity Bank Uganda’s mission to champion shared prosperity through strategic alliances that enhance financial inclusion, boost productivity, and drive long-term social and economic progress.
