Indomie Instant Noodles has once again been named East Africa’s Most Preferred Noodles Brand at the 2025 East Africa Brand Quality Awards (EABQA), held at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala. The recognition reaffirms Indomie’s position as a trusted, consistent, and proudly homegrown favourite across the region.

This is the fourth time Indomie has received the honour—a milestone that highlights the brand’s sustained commitment to quality, affordability, accessibility, and local market development. The award follows a series of consumer-driven recognitions, including Indomie’s ongoing success at the People’s Choice Awards, where it has remained the region’s top noodles brand for four consecutive years.

Receiving the award, Kennedy Omondi, Country Representative of Indomie Uganda, expressed gratitude to consumers and reiterated the brand’s dedication to East Africa’s progress:

“This recognition belongs to every Ugandan and East African family that has made Indomie part of their everyday life. Beyond taste and quality, we are deeply invested in local production, job creation, and community development. Supporting brands like Indomie means strengthening our local industries, empowering youth employment, and fueling a more resilient regional economy.”

The EABQA celebrates brands that exemplify excellence, innovation, and consumer trust. The 2025 edition placed a special focus on companies that are advancing local value chains and sustainable growth—a commitment Indomie continues to demonstrate through its local sourcing initiatives, distribution partnerships, and youth empowerment programs.

Patrick Nsubuga, Brand Ambassador for EABQA, commended the achievement: “Celebrating brands like Indomie reminds us that local market support is the cornerstone of sustainable development. When consumers choose East African brands, they don’t just buy a product—they invest in livelihoods, innovation, and the future of our economy.”

Through its rigorous evaluation of market reputation, customer satisfaction, business excellence, and social impact, the East Africa Brand Quality Awards affirm that Indomie’s continued success is a true reflection of authenticity and consumer trust.
