The Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) has announced an action-packed lineup for the 31st Uganda International Trade Fair, set to run from October 2 to 12, 2025, at the UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo.

Organised annually by the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), the trade fair is the country’s premier industrial and business exhibition, attracting more than 1,500 exhibitors from diverse sectors. This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Sustainable Industrialisation for Inclusive Growth, Employment, and Wealth Creation.”

Organisers revealed that the event will feature interactive exhibitions, business forums, and networking opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, youth, and local manufacturers on both regional and global fronts.

The UMA Board Chairman Aga Sekalala Jr emphasised that Uganda’s industrial sector is a key driver of jobs, wealth, and innovation. This reflects the sector’s role in creating employment, driving economic growth, and promoting the development of new technologies and products.

The Organising Committee Chairman and Vice Chairman, Eddie Senkumba, highlighted that the trade fair will feature interactive exhibitions, business forums, and networking opportunities designed to connect manufacturers, SMEs, investors, and the public.

At the fair, Uganda Baati will highlight its commitment to providing innovative and sustainable building solutions for families, communities, and businesses across Uganda.

Visitors to the Uganda Baati booth can expect to explore a comprehensive range of products, including its renowned roofing profiles — Lifestile, Orientile, Romantile, Versatile, Covermax, Resincot, and Dumuzas — along with essential roofing accessories such as roof nails, ridges, and valleys. The company will also showcase its engineered solutions, including SAFBUILD, ULTRASPAN, and SAFCOOL, designed to meet diverse construction needs.

Speaking ahead of the event, Jackie Tahakaniza, Head of External and Corporate Affairs at Uganda Baati, emphasised the significance of such platforms in engaging with customers:

“The Uganda International Trade Fair allows us to bring Uganda Baati’s solutions to life. Our goal is for every visitor to leave our booth not only impressed by our products but also empowered with the knowledge and confidence to make informed, lasting building decisions.”

One of the booth’s key highlights will be expert advisory sessions where engineers, sales professionals, and technical specialists will provide personalised guidance for both homeowners embarking on new builds and contractors handling large-scale projects.

To create an interactive experience, Uganda Baati will host a “lucky Q&A hour” at select times each day. Walk-in visitors who participate will stand a chance to win branded goodies while deepening their understanding of Uganda Baati’s product offerings.

Uganda Baati’s participation in the trade fair reflects its dedication to brand awareness, market leadership, and community empowerment through durable, innovative, and sustainable building solutions.
