Team Uganda safely landed at Entebbe International Airport Monday evening to a warm welcome from officials and supporters after a stellar performance at the CAA Africa U18/U20 Athletics Championships held in Nigeria from July 16–20.
Led by Assistant General Secretary for Administration at the National Council of Sports (NCS), Mr. Oluka Joseph, officials received the triumphant juniors who proudly return with a total of nine medals — 4 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze.

The 19-member contingent showcased exceptional talent and determination throughout the five-day championship, firmly placing Uganda on the continental athletics map.
