Uganda’s communications and PR professionals are set to converge once again at the 4th National Public Relations Symposium on Friday, July 25th, 2025, at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala.

The event, which starts at 8:00 AM sharp, is organised by the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) and themed: “From Strategy to the C-Suite: Elevating PR to the Boardroom.”

This highly anticipated gathering — widely regarded as the must-attend event on every communicator’s calendar — will bring together Uganda’s top PR minds, corporate leaders, communication strategists, academics, and students to spotlight the evolving role of public relations in driving organisational strategy and boardroom influence.

“We’re excited to once again provide a platform where Uganda’s communicators can sharpen their skills, expand their networks, and affirm the strategic value of PR,” said a PRAU representative. “Public Relations belongs at the heart of organisational leadership—not just in the marketing or communications department.”

Why Attend?

According to the organisers, the event is a platform for networking with Uganda’s leading PR and communications professionals, learning from thought leaders and industry pioneers, and influencing the conversation on the future of PR in Uganda. “Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Counted.”

To attend the event, PRAU Members will pay UGX 200,000/=, Non-Members: UGX 250,000/=, Students: UGX 70,000/= and Corporate Table of 10: UGX 5,000,000/=.

“Secure Your Slot Today! Limited spaces available. Book early through the PRAU Secretariat,” said the organisers.
