In a lively finale aired on StarTimes Uganda’s Makula Kika from Friday to Sunday, Alobo Janet Patricia was crowned Miss Uganda West Nile.

Ayikoru Cynthia and Mimi Doreen were named first and second runners-up, respectively.

The event featured exclusive backstage content, including an interview with Mr. Uganda’s 1st Runner-Up, adding an extra layer of glamour to the show.

The celebrations continued in Northern Uganda, where Akao Grace took home the Miss Uganda North title.

Akot Gillians Tracy and Kacey Simon secured first and second runner-up spots, respectively.

The pageant, organised under the Academy of Queens, is lauded for its empowering message aimed at nurturing confidence, leadership, and purpose among young women.

In Eastern Uganda, contestants lit up the stage with charisma, confidence, and poise. The grand finale was a showcase of regional pride and raw talent, drawing praise from both judges and the audience.

The regional competitions are a key part of the nationwide #TheSearchIsOn campaign that culminates in the national Miss Uganda grand finale later this year.

Organisers, including Miss Uganda World and the Academy of Queens, are using the platform to promote personal development, social impact, and national unity.

Brenda Nanyonjo, CEO of Miss Uganda and founder of Uganda Miss, says the competition is reaching an exciting climax as regional queens emerge ahead of the national crowning.

“Three regions down, two to go! The journey to find the next Miss Uganda is heating up. This is your moment to shine, so register now and leave nothing to chance!” — Brenda Nanyonjo, CEO, Miss Uganda.
