Equity Bank Uganda has reaffirmed its commitment to faith-based community transformation with a UGX 50 million contribution towards a highly anticipated three-day crusade hosted by Miracle Centre Cathedral, featuring internationally renowned evangelist Benny Hinn.
The cheque was officially handed over by Ms. Catherine Psomgen, Director of Public Sector & Social Investments at Equity Bank Uganda, to Pastor Robert Kayanja, founder of Miracle Centre Ministries and Channel 44 TV.

“We are always proud to stand with the Church and Christians in Uganda—united by faith and the power to transform lives,” Equity Bank Uganda stated via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The donation supports the upcoming revival crusade, which is expected to attract tens of thousands of believers and faith leaders from across the region. The event is set to be a major spiritual gathering, headlined by Evangelist Benny Hinn, known worldwide for his healing ministry and global outreach.

This contribution is part of a broader partnership between Equity Bank Uganda and Pastor Robert Kayanja Ministries, which includes ongoing collaboration on development initiatives, most notably transformational agriculture in Karamoja, launched in 2023.
“This partnership aligns with our purpose of transforming lives and restoring dignity in vulnerable communities. It also supports our Africa Recovery and Resilience Plan, particularly our goal to channel 30% of our total lending towards agriculture and community-based impact,” said a representative from the bank.

Through such faith-led partnerships, Equity Bank Uganda continues to champion holistic development—merging financial empowerment, social investment, and spiritual revival—to build resilient, inclusive communities across Uganda.
