St Noa Schools champions of girls football 2025

Bukedea—The 2025 edition of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I closed with a colourful closing ceremony at Bukedea Comprehensive Stadium, celebrating a week of fierce competition, emerging talent, and sporting excellence across multiple disciplines.

The games brought together top-performing secondary schools from across the country, competing in disciplines ranging from basketball and volleyball to hockey, rugby, and table tennis. The atmosphere was electric as trophies, medals, and MVP awards were handed out to the best-performing teams and individuals.

Among the biggest winners of the tournament were St Noa Girls Secondary School, Amus College, and Kibuli Secondary School, each dominating multiple categories.

Standout Schools

Kibuli Secondary School demonstrated dominance in tennis, table tennis, and badminton, taking home multiple golds and Most Valuable Players (MVPs).

Bukedea Comprehensive leveraged its home-ground advantage to top volleyball in both boys and girls U16 categories.

Amus College continued its rise as a sports powerhouse, winning boys basketball and clinching silver in girls football.

St Noa Girls SS maintained its status as a girls’ football giant, adding the basketball title and two individual awards.

The 2025 edition not only showcased elite school-level talent but also reaffirmed the USSSA Ball Games as a critical platform for identifying and nurturing Uganda’s next generation of athletes.
