Entebbe – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has received a special message from His Excellency Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of the Republic of South Africa, at State House Entebbe.
The message was delivered by Ms. Ayanda Dlodlo, President Ramaphosa’s special envoy, who was accompanied by Ms. Tshabalala Bajabulile Swazi, the former Senior Vice President of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
Ms Tshabalala is seeking Uganda’s support for her candidacy for the AfDB presidency.
The AfDB plays a crucial role in financing development projects across Africa, and the upcoming presidential election is expected to shape the continent’s economic agenda for years to come.
Tshabalala, a seasoned financial expert, has been at the forefront of economic and infrastructure financing within the AfDB and beyond.
President Museveni warmly welcomed the delegation and engaged in discussions on areas of mutual interest, further strengthening the diplomatic and economic ties between Uganda and South Africa.
