The Member of Parliament for Kawempe North Muhammad Ssegirinya, has died. The legislator passed away from Rubaga hospital this morning.
“Very sad news this morning. Our brother, our friend, our fellow leader Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya has passed on. Such a dark morning. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un!,” the NUP president, Robert Kyagulanyi, wrote on his X (formerly Twitter).
Former leader of Parliament, Mathias Mpuuga noted, “Devastating news of the passing of our colleague, Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya, hitherto Member of Parliament for Kawempe North. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
