“The Wanaichi are back in their homes, schools have reopened, and markets are operational. So, get ready to join your colleagues to flush out the few remaining scattered terrorists,” stated Col Kyomuhendo while reflecting on the successes of Operation Shujaa.

Lt Col Jedidiah Kiyengo, Commandant of the School, highlighted that the training provided essential knowledge, skills, and techniques needed for effective operation in high-altitude environments.

He encouraged the graduates to maintain the discipline they exhibited during training and to prioritize their health for the defense of Uganda.

Outstanding trainees included Pte Olara Emma, recognized as the best overall student, and Pte Naturinda Sandra, awarded as the best female student.

The ceremony was attended by Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Ntoroko Maj (Rtd) Jones Mugabirwe, UPDF senior and junior officers, the District Police Commander (DPC) Ntoroko, local government leaders, and community members.
