“Whether you just have a fantastic idea, are a start-up or already operating successfully and looking to expand, if you feel you have a lucrative business or product and could use financial backing, then Africa’s Next Young Millionaire is for you,” Basil told SoftPower News in an exclusive interview organised by Brian Muhumuza Bishanga of BM Publications.
He added: “We are looking for entrepreneurs who can pitch their breakthrough business concepts, products, properties and services to business moguls in hopes of landing investment funds. Register now at https://africasnextyoungmillionaire.com or www.anym.global for your chance to enter Africa’s Next Young Millionaire and see if your idea is good enough for investment.”
According to Basil, selected entrepreneurs will have the chance to present their ideas to well-known African businesspeople and entrepreneurs to gain support, visibility, and mentorship as they pursue their entrepreneurial goals.
“It is going to be very attractive because youth today need something appealing. It is going to test their resilience. We are going to come up with a winner for each country but all the participants will get exposure. It’s gonna be great. It’s gonna be fantastic.”
Having won the 2024 Africa Forty under 40 award in the Home & Decor Category, Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2023, Ghana, Ranked Top 50 Young CEOs in 2023, Ghana and 2023 People’s Choice Award Winner @ Forty under 40 Ghana, Basil wanted to give back to society and also inspire youth on the continent.
“I founded “Africa’s Next Young Millionaire”, a reality TV show which we launched two months ago. We were supposed to close registration last month but extended it so that Ugandans get a chance to register as well. I’m here (in Uganda) to create awareness around it so that those who have not heard of it can hear about it.”
Basil plans to use this reality show to help finance, mentor and expose a lot of entrepreneurs who have great ideas to the rest of the world.
Basil has also written a book titled “Dream Bigger” which emphasises the necessity of seeking prosperity with a purpose, urging entrepreneurs to link their businesses with their fundamental principles in order to have a beneficial impact on society.
“So many people are reaching out to me for help and mentorship. The youth need real positive and inspiring stories. So I decided to take the impactful passion of inspiring African youth so that we can empower them to have more people creating jobs than those looking for jobs,” he said.
