2019 UCE Results Due for Release

The Ministry of Education and Sports will Friday release results of last year’s Uganda Certificate of  (UCE) examination results.

Unlike the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results which were released from a private facility, UCE is going to be released from the President’s office Auditorium at 10am.

The First Lady Janet Museveni who is also the Minister of Education and Sports will preside over the event.

The Education Minister was briefed about the results on January 29.

A total of 337,380 candidates registered for the examinations which were conducted from October 14 to November 15 and held under the theme “Integrity and security in the management of examinations is my responsibility.”

According to the day’s program, the event is to commence with an opening prayer, after which Chairperson of UNEB, Prof. Mary J.N. Okwakol will give her opening remarks. UNEB Executive Secretary, Dan N. Odongo will then give the statement of release of the 2019 UCE results before handing over the results to the Education minister for the official release.

The Minister of higher education Dr. J.C. Muyingo will will then give a brief remarks on the results before inviting the Minister of Education and Sports for a speech and official release of the results of the 2019 Uganda Certificate of Education.
